This series contains materials collected by Henry Fowler both during and after his time as Secretary and Under Secretary of the Treasury Department. Much of the material in this series contains personal biographical and financial information including invoices, income taxes, medical information, insurance information, family photographs, and newspaper clippings. This series also contains correspondence, reports, booklets and pamphlets, memorandums, handwritten notes, agendas, invitations, plaques, manuscripts, statements, itineraries, press releases and journals related to the international economy and business. Other topics include research and development, foreign aid, banking, inflation, monetary reform, the international monetary system, investments, Third World development, foreign trips, foreign affairs, and fiscal policy. Aside from the Treasury Department, there is also material on various other companies and Boards that Fowler worked with and served on including Goldman Sachs, The Lyndon Baines Johnson Foundation, the Citizens Network for Foreign Affairs, and the Executive Council on Foreign Diplomacy. Other organizations covered in this series include the Tennessee Valley Authority, Roanoke College, the International Management and Development Institute, The Atlantic Council, Bohemian Grove, the Council on Foreign Relations, and the Treasury Historical Association. This series also includes multiple annual reports from the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. There is also material related to William McChesney Martin, and a letter from Robert F.
